Proceeds benefit MAS Rescue
My name is Kim Murray - musician, teacher, and animal lover. I love creating opportunities for musicians at all stages of development to use their talents to help animals in need.
The "Music for Mutts" fundraiser and performance is more than just a concert - it's a celebration of animals that is both fun and poignant. In addition to musical performances, the event features a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, bake sale and an opportunity to donate online.
All proceeds support MAS Rescue in Baltimore, MD - a small but tireless 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping unwanted animals find permanent homes. Founder Mary Snyder says,
“Animals come to us from local shelters, some from distant shelters, while still others are displaced homeless animals found wandering the streets. We rescue, treat and rehabilitate animals through placement in volunteer foster homes for the purpose of eventual adoption into permanent homes that are loving and responsible.”
MAS Rescue is completely dedicated to the animals it serves. If for some reason an adoption does not work out, the adopting individual is required to return the adopted pet to MAS Rescue. As Mary says, "We make a lifetime commitment to our animals."
